2003-01-02 - 7:59 p.m. GOD is in control. I have to keep reminding myself of this truth when it seems like it's all just falling apart. He is the GOD of LOVE and he knows every star by name. He knows when each and every sparrow falls from the sky. He cares about the un-loved and the forgotten in a very special way. Someday to all of them that overcome He is going to give a special name that only He and that person know. It will be written on a white stone. This is how intimate GOD is and that is only the tip of the iceberg. No eye hath seen - no ear hath heard what wonderful things GOD has prepared for those that love Him. So, if I am feeling forgotten I can be assured that GOD has *not* overlooked me. That he must be even nearer in times like that, because he has promised that He is a friend to the friendless, a father to the fatherless. And that is something to accept with joy. Happy New Year!
