Celluloid Heroes: the song by the group The Kinks. Is on my private playlist for the time being.

"...there are STARS in every city, in every house and on every street. And if you walk down Hollywood Boulevard their names are written in concrete."

That paticular line has a way of catching me off gaurd every time I hear it -- always making me smile while feeling a certain saddness underneath.

If you think about it -- it's really rather sweet. I mean we're not talking gold or marble statues...just concrete. And if you go down a few blocks more you can see what they've done with wax and paint at the Hollywood Wax Museum. All very fitting for the U.S. royal family.

*less is definately more sometimes*
