2001-06-12 - 1:46 p.m. Hey - this will be short. I am posting this from the airport at Myrtle Beach where I'm waiting for a flight out. I saw this coin-operated internet terminal and I couldn't resist trying it out. Checked my email... I just spent the last five days playing in the ocean and getting some sun. I even found a little baby starfish. It's raining pretty hard at the moment and as of this moment I'm 4 hours behind my original schedule for getting home. I guess it's gotten hot back in Chicago, so I'll be needing the airconditioner cord I purchased down here that's in my bag which is on the plane I was supposed to board, but didn't because of one of several delays. They assured me I would see my bag again, but maybe not tonight. Guess I'll have to unplug the computer so I can use the power strip to plug in my AC unit tonight. I just hope the birds and fish in my apartment are all still alive and well and that my car is still parked out in front of my building and in one piece with no ticktes on the windshield. That and a safe flight home. all for now, radar
