Alice chased the rabbit not knowing him to be the property of the Queen of Hearts - an ever elusive dream. It's running fast to stay in place, faster still to go. Peter Pan holds on to Hope, while the willow trees sway slow.
Hansel walks with Gretel, but all's not bright and fair. The evil queen is lying dead from her despair, for the mirror shows *another* to be the fairest of the fair. The meadows full of sheep now, and cows are in the corn. Fast alseep I see him. Near the end of morn. Silently I watch him - a little boy so blue, and wonder if his dreams are going to come true.
Is it wrong to leave him dreaming, there beneath the hay? Knowing when his Master comes there'll be a price to pay? Alice finds it curious, but says that she must go. Running fast to stay in place, faster still to go. Peter Pan holds on to Hope, while the willow trees sway slow.
