2002-02-01 - 10:35 p.m. Today was full of nice surprises. Nothing earth shattering...no promotions or winning lottery tickets. Just nice surprises. The "irregular person" in my life asked me if I wanted to "be friends again". Which I'm sure was not an easy grouping of words for her to say. I told her I had never stopped being her friend - that I'm just me. Don't know if that was the right answer, but it was what came tumbling out of my mouth anyhow. I had a brief chat with my supervisor and that went well. Being validated by the boss on Friday is always a good thing. And then I met my good friend for dinner. Later at home three other friends dropped by to invite me for coffee. I like those kinds of suprises ya know. Hope your Friday has been a happy one too. - radar -
